our little sister elliott is here! for pretty much everyone, that's not news. she was born february 25, 2008 at 1:48 pm. our mom hasn't been able to help us with our blog lately because when she's not running us to soccer, karate, guitar, piano, and play practice, she just sits around and looks at elliott. i guess its hard for her to type on a computer when she's holding elliott in her arms!
we've posted a fairly recent picture above, but we really ought to go back and start at the beginning. we all thought elliott would be born a little early, but she waited around and didn't show up until her due date. we went to school that monday morning as usual, but when i was at lunch and wyatt was in music class (around 12:15), they called our names on the intercom and told us we had to check out because it was time for our sister to be born! our grammy picked us up and took us home, and we rode with mom and dad to the birthing center. we got there around 1:00.
we went into the family room with our papaw to watch a movie and wait while mom and dad had a little hot tub party.
we didn't have to wait long because elliott was born less than an hour after we got there! we didn't even get to watch our movie.
we were so happy to finally meet her!
we really are going to try to do a little better job of keeping our blog up to date now. so stay tuned!

most of you know i'm a soccer player, but this winter i played basketball for the first time. i really liked it - its pretty fast-paced so i didn't get bored like i did when i tried baseball. here are a few shots of me in action.
