christmas, christmas time is here...

last sunday our mom took us to young chef's academy, along with our friends jack and sam and their mom, ms. amye, to make gingerbread houses! we got pretty sticky, but we had a lot of fun and we made a great big gingerbread house that our mom put right in the middle of our kitchen counter. now our whole kitchen smells like gingerbread! yum!

Halloween!

ok - so we're REALLY late getting this posted. our mom got a new camera, and lately she's been playing with it a lot and forgot to upload the pictures from our old camera for a while. Anyway, we wanted to share a few fun pictures from halloween with you.

kellen was the one and only tim tebow.

i was jack sparrow. don't you love the dred locks and dirty beard?

i got a ton of candy!

and i got to see a lot of my friends, including lucy maye (ratatouille) and lydia (sharpay) at our neighborhood party. we had sooooo much fun!

we've been really busy lately, so there will be a lot more posts coming up (as soon as mom figures out her new camera). stay tuned!

NYC!

we had SOOO much fun in new york city. we loved the look of times square at night. we've never seen that many lights before!

we got to see the statue of liberty, which was very cool.

and we spent a whole day at the museum of natural history. it was so neat. here's a picture of wyatt and me in front of the museum with the statue of teddy roosevelt.

here's a picture of wyatt with one of the easter island statues. this is the same statue that was in the movie "night at the museum." he loved to chew gum!

and we got see lots of dinosaurs!

one neat thing we got to do was go to good morning america. we got up really really early... see, it was still dark out!

wyatt couldn't hang - he had to take a little cat nap.

when the sun started to come up, it was really pretty.

we got to see diane sawyer, but the best part was we got to see carrie underwood in concert. we didn't really know her music, but we knew who she was. she's sooo pretty!

she was really nice, too. and so was her back up singer. she talked to me and wyatt. here's a clip of carrie singing.

we even spent some time playing football in central park.

we went to a really cool store called world of disney on 55th and 5th - it was four stories and really amazing.

and, OF COURSE, we rode the ferris wheel in the toys r us at times square. we got the mr. potato head car.

we had a blast in new york city. we can't wait to go back again! we told mom and dad the next time we go, we want it to be in the winter time, because we want to see all the snow! i've gotta go now because it's past my bedtime, but i'm going to post some pictures from halloween soon.

3-2-1 big apple!

sorry we haven't written for a while. kellen has been really busy with homework and school lately (i'm REALLY not looking forward to being a 4th grader), plus he's got one of the leads in the christmas musical at our church, so he's rehearsing a lot. i'm still playing lots of soccer for crush academy. i'll have to get my mom to post some pictures of me in action - dad lost count of how many goals i scored last saturday, but i think it was either 5 or 6. my favorite thing to do is slide tackle!

we're getting super excited because we leave on saturday for new york city for our fall break! not only do we get a whole week without school, but we're going to be in one of the coolest cities in the whole world. we're going to see the lion king on broadway, spend a day at the natural history museum (i can't wait to see the space show!!) and, of course, ride the ferris wheel inside the toys r us on times square. that is THE coolest toy store i've ever seen. it has a whole lego castle big enough to walk around in, plus a land of candy! we can't wait. we're even going to go see the statue of liberty! we've only got a few more days before we leave, and kellen and i are counting down!!! we'll post some pictures while we're gone, so stay tuned!

LSBoo

as pretty much all of you know, we're big fans of the florida gators. we have a lot of fun watching them play football, both in gainesville and on tv. until the last 2 weeks anyway. we got really really mad when florida lost to auburn - in the SWAMP! but it made us even more mad that our aunt sara, who's a big auburn fan, sent us this cookie bouquet on monday after the game:

i tried some of the football cookie (it was gingerbread) but wyatt just took the football player cookie and crushed it.

this past saturday was worse though. we watched the game at home with mom, dad and our friend sarah (not our aunt the auburn fan - she spells her name sara). we couldn't believe that we were beating lsboo at half time. and at the end of the third quarter! but wyatt couldn't stay awake. this picture is dark (mom took it with her blackberry), but you can kind of tell he fell asleep wearing his tebow jersey and holding his gator football.
when he fell asleep florida was winning by 10 points. he asked mom to wake him up before the game was over, and she tried, but he just wouldn't wake up. so sunday morning, when he finally stumbled into the kitchen (still wearing his tebow jersey), he asked mom who won. when she told him lsboo (at the LAST minute!) his eyes filled up with tears. he wouldn't say anything at all. after about 10 minutes, dad asked, "are you not ready to talk about it yet?" and he just shook his head no. it was really pitiful! hopefully we'll get another chance at lsboo at the SEC championship game. it's on wyatt's birthday, and beating our most hated team and winning the SEC would be a really great birthday present for him!
