christmas eve

we celebrated christmas eve at mamaw and papaw's house along with old mamaw and old papaw, uncle eric and aunt ali, and gavin and nolen. we had a great time!

kellen and wyatt got rock band - so fun!!

nolen loved our rudolph wrapping paper!

gavin thought his present was "cool."

elliott, of course, liked playing with the paper and ribbons!

and she LOVED the box of toys from old mamaw and old papaw - so much that she got inside the box!

kellen loved his broadway snowglobe.

and enjoyed reading the christmas story for everyone.

i was happy just chillin out, as usual!

christmas(es)!

we first celebrated christmas in mississippi at grammy and pepaw's house. we started out by doing some of our favorite traditional things - making christmas cookies and popcorn balls with mommy, grammy and aunt chami:

then on sunday we went to church with uncle robert, aunt wendy, and our cousins. then we opened presents.

elliott and emma grace had so much fun with their presents - mostly with the wrapping paper!

elliott also had fun with the dogs - she loved harley and sugar!

but not as much as she loved pepaw!

more plays

in addition to being in charlie and the chocolate factory, i also had roles in my school musical and church musical this christmas. i've been busy! here are a few shots from the school play, where i was artie fisheltree, the school's very cheesy music director...

...and the church play, where i was sheriff badge.

cutie patootie

mom just LOVES dressing elliott up. i think she thinks elliott's a baby doll.

wyatt's 8th birthday

i had my 8th birthday party at laser quest - we had a GREAT time.

i had a really cool football helmet cake - orange and blue of course. and LOTS of my friends were there.

charlie backstage

we took a few shots from backstage at the bijou. here i am outside the hair and makeup room. (luckily i didn't have to get my hair or makeup done for the show!)

this is the door of our dressing room. i shared this room with all the kid actors - and we had so much fun in here!

after some of the shows i went out into the audience to meet some of the people who came to the show. a few of the kids even asked for my autograph!

charlie opening night

kellen had a full house on opening night - lots of friends and family came to see the first performance of charlie and the chocolate factory. and kellen was GREAT!

his fan club bought him a really cool cookie bouquet.

elliott got all decked out for the occasion, of course.

and kellen got a neat box of stuff from a real chocolate factory - everything chocolate covered you could imagine... chocolate covered marshmallows, oreos, rice krispie treats - even gummy worms and potato chips!

thanksgiving

thanksgiving at mamaw's and papaw's was so much fun. we had way too much to eat!

our aunt sara and uncle warren, and cousins devin, riley and copeland came up from florida. elliott took a post-dinner nap with cousin devin.

but she didn't stay asleep long!

wyatt and riley glammed up and punked out to put on a karaoke concert in the basement. cousin devin did wyatt's hair and makeup - he was wild looking.

we had a great thanksgiving day!

party animal

elliott went to her best friend emma's first birthday party last weekend. emma's dad took these pictures of the little party animal in action. clearly, we're going to have to teach elliott a thing or two about how to party.

appearing on live at five

the oompa loompas, willy wonka, grandpa joe and i got to appear on live at five to promote charlie and the chocolate factory. it was really cool to see the inside of a tv studio and to see how a tv show gets made.

charlie set build-in

one of the coolest things about charlie and the chocolate factory is that it's at the historic bijou theatre.

on the sunday before we opened, we spent the entire day at the bijou building the set and loading in the props.

even the younger cast members were allowed to paint and do some of the set construction.

it was a long day - but we had a lot of fun!
