gators

this weekend we went to nashville to see the gators play vanderbilt. it was really cold, but we had a great time! kellen and i played a little scrimmage in our hotel room before we headed over to the stadium for some pre-game fun.

here's a picture of mom and her girl just before elliott's first game.

there were a LOT of gators at this game - it seemed like a home game almost. look at that orange and blue in the crowd! we even sang we are the boys at the end of the 3rd quarter just like we do in the swamp!

we got to the game in time to see the gators warm up.

my mom was impressed by how many of the players i know by number.

i got to see my three favorites pretty close up.

we got to see tebow rush for a couple touchdowns right in front of us.

and we got to see our friends jaylon and reese.

the gators played really well. they were up 35 - 0 at half time, and ended up winning 42-14.

elliott couldn't hang and took a nap during the game.

but she woke up in the 4th quarter and she was ready to cheer on her team!


it was a great game!

halloween

we had a big night on halloween. we went to our neighborhood block party...

wyatt was a boxer.

i was the king of rock and roll.

and elliott was a chunky little chicken.

after we went trick or treating, we went to our friends' house and stayed really, really late. i wish halloween was on a friday night every year!

football

this was my first season playing football, but i loved it. my team was the buccaneers. i mostly played quarterback. here i am taking a snap...

and handing off to a running back...

and throwing a pass.

i also played running back. here i am taking a hand-off right before i scored a touchdown!

i can hardly wait until next fall to play again.

pumpkin carving

we had a great time carving pumpkins. really we just did all the cleaning and scooping and mom did all the carving (she doesn't really trust us with sharp tools), but it was still a lot of fun. even elliott enjoyed it!

kellen and i thought it was kinda gross....

....but we still enjoyed it!
