sorry we haven't written for a while. kellen has been really busy with homework and school lately (i'm REALLY not looking forward to being a 4th grader), plus he's got one of the leads in the christmas musical at our church, so he's rehearsing a lot. i'm still playing lots of soccer for crush academy. i'll have to get my mom to post some pictures of me in action - dad lost count of how many goals i scored last saturday, but i think it was either 5 or 6. my favorite thing to do is slide tackle!
we're getting super excited because we leave on saturday for new york city for our fall break! not only do we get a whole week without school, but we're going to be in one of the coolest cities in the whole world. we're going to see the lion king on broadway, spend a day at the natural history museum (i can't wait to see the space show!!) and, of course, ride the ferris wheel inside the toys r us on times square. that is THE coolest toy store i've ever seen. it has a whole lego castle big enough to walk around in, plus a land of candy! we can't wait. we're even going to go see the statue of liberty! we've only got a few more days before we leave, and kellen and i are counting down!!! we'll post some pictures while we're gone, so stay tuned!

LSBoo
as pretty much all of you know, we're big fans of the florida gators. we have a lot of fun watching them play football, both in gainesville and on tv. until the last 2 weeks anyway. we got really really mad when florida lost to auburn - in the SWAMP! but it made us even more mad that our aunt sara, who's a big auburn fan, sent us this cookie bouquet on monday after the game:
i tried some of the football cookie (it was gingerbread) but wyatt just took the football player cookie and crushed it.
this past saturday was worse though. we watched the game at home with mom, dad and our friend sarah (not our aunt the auburn fan - she spells her name sara). we couldn't believe that we were beating lsboo at half time. and at the end of the third quarter! but wyatt couldn't stay awake. this picture is dark (mom took it with her blackberry), but you can kind of tell he fell asleep wearing his tebow jersey and holding his gator football.
when he fell asleep florida was winning by 10 points. he asked mom to wake him up before the game was over, and she tried, but he just wouldn't wake up. so sunday morning, when he finally stumbled into the kitchen (still wearing his tebow jersey), he asked mom who won. when she told him lsboo (at the LAST minute!) his eyes filled up with tears. he wouldn't say anything at all. after about 10 minutes, dad asked, "are you not ready to talk about it yet?" and he just shook his head no. it was really pitiful! hopefully we'll get another chance at lsboo at the SEC championship game. it's on wyatt's birthday, and beating our most hated team and winning the SEC would be a really great birthday present for him!
